Originally from Wisconsin and now proudly based in sunny South Florida, Mario has built his career around helping couples create unforgettable destination wedding experiences filled with connection, celebration, and a little more love in the world one wedding at a time.

As the President of Destination Weddings Expert, Mario is passionate about creating a planning experience that feels exciting, organized, and stress-free. His timeline-focused approach helps couples stay on track throughout the planning process while still enjoying every moment along the way. Much of that passion continues the legacy of his late husband, Will Medina, whose spirit and love for people continue to inspire the heart behind the brand.

When he’s not planning weddings, you’ll probably find Mario outside with his dog Max or exploring new restaurants in search of his next favorite spot.

Travel isn’t just my passion – it’s my life! Think of me as Carmen Sandiego if she were a real person. Growing up, travel helped me reclaim my voice and self-esteem after being bullied. I began my travel career in 2010, focusing on helping women take more vacations. I soon discovered my superpower: planning group travel celebrations like destination weddings, milestone birthday trips, and holiday getaways.

As a Chicago native, I spend my winters escaping the “Hawk” (those strong Chicago winds) by exploring beautiful Caribbean landscapes. My love of food and wine has taken me through Europe and South America, and now I’m excited to taste my way through Africa and Asia.

I’m thrilled to work alongside this amazing team at Destination Weddings Expert, bringing our couples' visions to life!

Based in beautiful West Virginia, Jodi has spent the last 19 years working in the travel industry, helping clients create unforgettable vacations and once-in-a-lifetime celebrations around the world.

After 20 years of marriage and raising three amazing kids alongside two very spoiled dogs, Jodi understands just how meaningful it is to bring people together and create experiences that become part of a family’s story for years to come. That passion for connection and celebration is what led her to the Destination Weddings Expert team, where she loves helping couples and their guests navigate the travel side of their wedding experience with ease and excitement.

When she’s not working behind the scenes to keep travel plans running seamlessly, you’ll probably find her planning her next Disney vacation, geeking out over music, or spending quality time at home with her family.

I'm a native Floridian who thrives in warm weather! After living in California and Arizona, I'm happily back in sunny South Florida.

My first love was travel. My first international trip was a group trip to Mexico in 9th grade, and I was hooked! But the highlight was meeting my future husband in Cabo San Lucas in 1992. (Fun fact: Van Halen was playing live at the bar!) He left but flew back two days later, and the rest is history! We've been married for 34+ years and have four wonderful kids. Our first all-inclusive vacation was our honeymoon at Sandals Montego Bay in 1993. I still cherish the flip-flop charm I bought there.

I adore animals and have had up to seven pugs at once – they look adorable in sweaters! There's likely a cat lounging on my desk while I’m working.

I could happily live on ceviche and dessert. I've enjoyed my favorite beverage in 23 countries and more than half of the U.S. My life is better than my daydreams!
