However, a word of caution: the doors throughout the property are notably heavy. As a 39-year-old male, I found myself needing to lean into these doors to open them, which could be a challenge for elderly or disabled guests. This small but notable detail might affect those with mobility issues, so it’s worth considering when planning your visit.

The beach is an amazing way to experience all that Mexico has to offer. Sit on the swings at the Beach bar, grab a nap on a Bali bed or lounge in the sand as you listen to the waves come in with cocktail in hand.

In fact, the relaxation comes at a bit of a cost, in our opinion. The wi-fi on property is abysmal. For those looking to sneak in some hours of work before the party starts, it’s hard to find the perfect spot to connect to the wi-fi. The only place we could securely connect was in the Main Lobby. Attempts in our room, in the Preferred Club Lounge and even the Conference Room left us with the spinning wheel of death as we waited for a connection.

While the property is not overly large, navigating it can be a bit challenging, especially during the peak midday hours when the sun is at its strongest. The design, while beautiful, might require some patience and planning to get from one area to another without overheating. It’s advisable to familiarize yourself with the layout early on and plan your activities accordingly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
